Applied force and Thrust are not important for the purpose of the A.P. and I.B. Tests.

Applied force

What is important to know about applied force

The term "applied force" is a catch all.  It's a term used to describe a force applied onto an object without concern on the type or nature of the force, thats why its called "applied force."

Thrust

What is important to know about thrust force

The use of the term "thrust" is actually missed used when it comes to Ap and Ib physics tests.  When it comes to Ib and Ap the thrust force is a constant force applied to an object.  The truth about thrust is it is far from a constant force.  So for the purpose of this class thrust is constant and don't concern yourself with the details.  If you are curious it is important to understand how to do some advanced mathematics
